Shadows fool the eye

Searching for a ghost

Anxious, cold

Who knew the entity would shake our souls on sight

My skin was crawling and my chest was tight

Evil was there that cold night

A dark presence here

A young child fears

Her name engraved

Held there by a wraith

Forced through the pathway I was an unwelcomed guest

Unseen but present, no air left my chest

It surrounds me
