October Mourning is an instrumental song which began in late 2008 toward the end of the writing sessions for Agrippa93’s album Beneath the Cypress Tree. It is the 10th track and the 2nd instrumental on the album – the other being LVX.

“In the early stages of writing this song I had considered working out some vocals and lyrics for Mourning, but after hearing how it had progressed, I didn’t think it really needed any. What Carlos had written was holding its own as an instrumental.”  - Agrippa

Agrippa – Bass programming, synths, sequencer, piano, and drum programming.

Myk Dugan – Lead and rhythm guitar.

Carlos Cabrero – Lead and rhythm guitar and acoustic guitar.

“During the recording sessions the song’s name was never really established, so I was really pushing for the title The Aeon Trilogy [Isis, Osiris, Horus]. You can hear 3 distinct sections in the song, which I felt better reflected that theme, but obviously in the end I lost that battle.” - Agrippa

Live Performance: October Mourning has never been performed live, but was considered to be modified and added on to build the new setlist with the current A93 band line up.
