(Music written and recorded by Agrippa, Cabrero, and Dugan in 2008)
LVX is an instrumental song which began development in early 2007 and finished late 2008 for the writing sessions of Agrippa93’s album Beneath the Cypress Tree. It is the 4th track and the 1st instrumental song on the album – the other being October Mourning.
LVX is from the Latin word Lux meaning light. In occult usage it is a magickal formulae with each letter corresponding to a particular godform (L=Isis Mourning, V=Apophis Triumphant, X=Osiris Risen).
In Studio: LVX was produced and engineered by Agrippa.
Agrippa - Bass programming, synths, sequencer, piano, and drum programming.
Myk Dugan - Lead and rhythm guitars.
Carlos Cabrero - Lead and rhythm guitars..
Live Performance: Although LVX was being rehearsed during the summer of 2009 for the setlist, the song has never been performed live. During rehearsals Agrippa played bass for the song.
